Ancar operates in the shopping mall segment since the 1970’s.
Ancar Ivanhoe is one of the leading companies in the shopping mall segment in Brazil, present in the five regions of the country. Formed by Brazilian company Ancar – that has over 40 years of expertise in construction, development and business management – and Canadian Ivanhoe Cambridge – real estate company that is among the largest in the world, owning businesses in North America, Europe and Asia – Ancar Ivanhoe was organized in 2006, marking the entrance of the Canadian company in Brazil. In just eight years, its portfolio increased from six to 23 malls – two of which under development phase. Of this total, 17 are own ventures and six are under the administration of Ancar Ivanhoe.
Ancar operates in the shopping mall segment since the 1970’s, as one of the companies responsible for the development of the first mall of Brasilia and second mall built in Brazil: #ConjuntoNacional Brasília. The experience in developing markets became its trademark: it explored other cities for new ventures – such as Porto Alegre and Porto Velho, and built the second shopping mall in the Northeast, in Recife.www.ancarivanhoe.com.br
